The Penetrating Sun | The Sun shines In 3 | Aki Tanaka

A shot from the photo book "Shimiru Taiyo" (The Sun shines In) published by Toseisha in 2007. I entered the darkroom myself and printed it from a 35mm color negative film. By replacing living plants on earth with "myself" and capturing "the sun and sunlight" on film, I travel to "my inner voice" through "the colors that are part of the sunlight." The framing edges may vary slightly depending on the edition. Photographed in 2003.
