The Penetrating Sun | The Sun shines In 2 | Aki Tanaka

A single image from the photobook "The Sun shines In" published by Tosei-sha in 2007. I went into the darkroom myself and printed it from a 35mm color negative film. By replacing "life on earth" with "myself" and capturing "the sun and sunlight" on film, I travel to "my inner voice" through "the color that is part of the sunlight." The framing edges and colors may vary slightly depending on the edition. We recommend viewing it in person before purchasing. Photographed in 2004.
