1/f Sun | Sunshine Volition 5 | Aki Tanaka

This photo was taken around the same time as the works in "1/f Sunshine" (Sunshine Volition), published in 2011. I personally printed this 35mm color negative film in the darkroom. This work attempts to embody the "invisible, inexpressible" fluctuations that constantly change within oneself—such as "hope, anxiety, joy, and sorrow"—by projecting them onto plants, which are living things on earth, and capturing "the sun and sunlight" on film. The framing edges may vary slightly depending on the edition. Photographed in 2009.
