A photograph from the photobook "1/f no Taiyo" (Sunshine Volition), published by Tosei-sha in 2011. This C-print was created by the artist in a darkroom from a 35mm color negative film. It is a work that attempts to materialize the constantly changing "invisible, inexpressible" fluctuations—"hope, anxiety, joy, and sorrow"—within the artist's "self" by projecting them onto living plants on earth and capturing "the sun and sunlight" on film. The framing border may vary slightly depending on the edition. Photographed in 2008.
