A piece from the photobook "1/f Sunshine" (Sunshine Volition) published by Tosei-sha in 2011. Printed in the darkroom by the artist themselves from a 35mm color negative film. The work attempts to materialize the "invisible, inexpressible" fluctuations, such as "hope, anxiety, joy, and sorrow," that constantly change within one's "self," by projecting this "self" onto living plants on earth and capturing "the sun and sunlight" on film. The framing edges may vary slightly depending on the edition. Photographed in 2009.
