A piece from the photobook "1/f Sunshine" (Sunshine Volition) published by Toseisha in 2011. Printed in a darkroom from 35mm color negative film. This work attempts to materialize the "unseen, unspeakable" fluctuations, "hopes, anxieties, joys, and sorrows" that are constantly changing within "oneself," by projecting "self-confidence" onto living plants on earth and capturing them on film as "the sun and sunlight." The framing edges may vary slightly depending on the edition. Photographed in 2010.
